Program in Offshore Engineering

Vision

We bring together a top-tier ocean engineering program with basic naval structure technology available to address a rapidly increasing need in the offshore structure and shipbuilding market and pave the way to lead the market by our students.

The program is designed to equip students for professional work in offshore structure, in particular, FEED design, in which the professional for the field is in high demand. After completing this program, students come away with expertise in offshore, subsea, pipeline engineering.

Goal

This program aims to achieve:

- Professional resource development for domestic market through inter-university education.
- Building human networks internationally through visiting industries or conference and collaborating research with other students.

Dual MSc Degree Program

For two years, students will take total 220 credits of graduate coursework divided between Pusan National University (Korea) and Newcastle University (UK) or Strathclyde University (UK). When students satisfy successfully all requirements such as to take all required subjects, participate the international conference as a presenter, pass the required exam and submit project and theses, they will receive dual master degree.
